"We are 3 best friends who want nothing more than to make this our career, and to be able to give back to the local music scene and help it grow. Music to us is much more then becoming idolized and your stereotype image of a rockstar. As cliche as it is to say, we are in it for the music, the relationships, and helping grow the general music scene in Toronto and the rest of Canada. There is no gimmick to us, we are just genuine musicians that want to perform" - JJ Thompson, Lead Singer
JJ and The Pillars recently finished recording a 7 song EP in Toronto with producer, and friend of the band, Ross Hayes Citrullo. Their Single "The Wolves", mastered by the legendary João Carvalho, has been on the rise on radio station 102.1 The Edge's Top 30, Canada's Biggest Rock Station, by popular demand. JJ and The Pillars are currently on the rise, and are starting to prove success throughout the Toronto music scene bringing in the likes of USS, Sam Roberts, Matt Mayes and more, making appearances at their shows.
